Musser Public Library 

The Musser Public Library strives to serve as a resource center for knowledge and as a dynamic gathering place for the community of Muscatine.

Library Card Eligibility 

You may become a registered borrower after presenting appropriate identification with a current address if you are a resident of the following areas:

• City of Muscatine
• Rural Muscatine County
• Township of Drury
• Township of Eliza
• New Boston, Illinois
• Buffalo Prairie, Illinois

Registration is free.

Open Access Library & RiverShare Membership 

Musser Public Library is an Open Access library, thus our patrons may take their library card to any participating Iowa Open Access library and check out their materials.

Musser Public Library is also a member of RiverShare. This means that our Iowa cardholders can use their cards to check out materials at any RiverShare Iowa public library. For more information, please call 563.263.3065.

Free Internet & Wireless Internet Available 

The library provides free computer access including Internet access and Microsoft Office on 16 public computer terminals during normal business hours. The library also provides a free Wi-Fi connection inside the building that may be accessed during normal business hours.
