It has been determined that by mid- to late-October, the majority of the leaves are falling. We like to take advantage of the frost, rain, and winds that we get during October. The answer is no. Please do not rake your leaves out into the street. This will help prevent the leaves from washing into the catchbasins, which in turn could plug the sewers. Please rake them out before your scheduled day, and do not wait until you see us in the neighborhood. The leaf pick-up process moves very quickly and you won’t want to miss your pick-up days because you may end up with leaves in your yard all winter.Public Works - Roadway Maintenance - Street Cleaning
