President's Day (February 16th, 2026)
The Muscatine Transfer Station will be closed Monday, February 16th, 2026, for the President's Day holiday. The facility will resume regular hours on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, from 7 a.m.-3:15 p.m. with the last load on the scale at 3:15 p.m.
There will be no Bulky Waste or Yard Waste Collection on Monday or Tuesday (February 16th & 17th, 2026).
REFUSE COLLECTION - There will be no refuse collection on Monday, February 16th, 2026.
Monday (the 16th) garbage routes will be collected on Tuesday, February 17th, along with Tuesday's route.
RECYCLING COLLECTION - There will be no change in the recycling route.
COMPOST FACILITY – The Compost Facility at the Muscatine Transfer Station will be closed for the season.
