A resolution creating a subcommittee of the City Council (Nominating Committee) to recommend appointments to various boards, commissions, and committees, including ad-hoc committees (as defined by Title 2, Chapter 10 of the City Code), and City Administrative Boards (as defined by Title 2, Chapter 11 of the City Code) was passed, approved, and adopted by the Muscatine City Council on September 1, 2016, and signed by the Mayor of Muscatine.
The four person Nominating Committee reviews vacancies occurring on Boards, Commissions, and Committees, including Ad-Hoc Committees, and makes recommendations to fill such vacancies to the Council as a whole.
Members of the Nominating Committee include two representatives from City Council, the Mayor, and the City Administrator or his or her designate.
