MUSCATINE, Iowa – Canadian Pacific-Kansas City Railroad will be closing Dick Drake Way for approximately two hours on Wednesday (Dec. 18) to replace a broken panel on the main line crossing near the entrance to Hahn Ready Mix. The exact time of the closure is dependent on the weather that is expected to move in overnight Tuesday, and will be announced Wednesday morning.
The broken panel was removed Tuesday and temporarily replaced with a cold mix of asphalt.
Drivers are asked to use caution if travelling on Dick Drake Way, be alert to traffic control devices, and be ready to find an alternate route if possible. The replacement by CPKC crews is anticipated to be completed in a two-hour window but unknown circumstances may extend the closure.
