MUSCATINE, Iowa – The 400 block of Mulberry Avenue will be closed to traffic from East 4th Street to East 5th Street Thursday (September 19) for the repair of the sidewalk in front of the demolition site at 417 Mulberry Avenue.
Valley Construction completed the demolition and cleanup work last week with the block temporarily opened to traffic Monday. The block will be reopened to traffic once the sidewalk replacement has been completed..
Northbound traffic will be detoured west at East 3rd Street to Cedar Street, then right on Cedar Street, right onto East 5th Street, and back to Mulberry Avenue.
Southbound traffic will be detoured west on East 5th Street to Cedar Street, then left onto Cedar Street, left onto East 3rd Street, and back to Mulberry Avenue.
