MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Mississippi Mist interactive fountain has been the center of attention along the riverfront during the past summer, but that will come to an end this weekend. The City of Muscatine closing the valves and shutting down the fountains gentle geysers as the 2021 season comes to an end at the end of the day on Sunday, Oct. 3.
The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank the community for their patronage of the fountain this year.
