MUSCATINE, Iowa – Public transit employees continue to work on the frontline of the COVID-19 health crisis, and the City of Muscatine joins with the Iowa Department of Transportation and agencies across the United States to thank our #HeroesMovingHeroes.

Residents can join the “Sound The Horn” effort sponsored by the America Public Transportation Association at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21, and “#SoundTheHorn” to honor and say thank you to all public transportation employees working through the coronavirus outbreak and providing essential services.

MuscaBus will simultaneously sound two one-second horn blasts from vehicles in service and the Muscatine Transit Department asks all citizens to #SoundTheHorn also.
