MUSCATINE, IOWA – The City of Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department announced that the process of closing amenities within the park system in preparation for the winter season will begin this week.
The tentative winterizing schedule includes:
- Winterizing the Muscatine Boat Harbor October 23-24
- Winterizing drinking fountains, water hydrants, etc., October 27-31
- Closing Weed Park and Fuller Park restrooms October 31
- Closing Musser Park restroom on November 4
- Closing and winterizing the Taylor Park Splash Pad on October 31
- Closing the Taylor Park restrooms has not been scheduled and is dependent on the weather.
