MUSCATINE, Iowa – The City of Muscatine will temporarily close the downriver boat launch September 9-16 to accommodate the extended stay of the USS LST 325.
In addition, half of the parking lot downriver of the Iowa Avenue entrance will be closed to parking from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, for a special event planned by the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The small parking lot next to the basketball courts will remain open for the public’s use along with parking in area’s upriver of the Iowa Avenue entrance.
Please be alert to signage directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic during this busy time on the riverfront.
