MUSCATINE, Iowa – Traffic on the 600 block of East 5th Street will be reduced to one lane on Saturday, September 6, as Manatt’s, Inc. completes milling and paving work on a recent sewer connection project.
The work, located near the intersection of Orange Street and East 5th Street by the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine Triplex Development, will require lane restrictions for most of the day. Flaggers will be on site to help direct vehicles safely through the construction zone.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, use caution when traveling in the area, and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
