MUSCATINE, Iowa – Crossroads is pleased to invite the community to its fourth annual Residential Secure Shred Day on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This convenient drive-through event at 1424 Houser Street offers residents a safe and easy way to dispose of up to 50 pounds of personal documents—right from their vehicle.
As a local nonprofit and AAA NAID-certified shredding provider, Crossroads takes pride in providing year-round secure document destruction to the Muscatine community. This annual event helps residents protect sensitive information while supporting a great cause.
A suggested donation of $0.50 per pound is encouraged, with proceeds directly benefiting services for seniors and individuals with disabilities. These contributions help bridge gaps in Medicaid funding and support Crossroads’ commitment to high-quality care, including well-trained staff, community-based programming, and sliding scale fees for senior services.
To ensure smooth processing, participants are asked to remove documents from binders prior to drop-off. Please note that magazines, newspapers, and glossy paper are not accepted.
Local businesses and organizations in need of secure shredding are invited to explore Crossroads’ year-round commercial shredding services by contacting Kraig Reed at kreed@crossroadsmuscatine.org.
