MUSCATINE, Iowa – There will be no refuse or yard waste curbside collections on Thursday or Friday (Nov. 28-29), no Bulky Waste Collection Wednesday-Monday (Nov. 27-Dec. 2), and no curbside recycling collection on Thursday (Nov. 28).
Residents on the Thursday refuse route will have their refuse collected a day early, on Wednesday (Nov. 27), along with residents on the regular Wednesday route. Residents on the Friday refuse route will have their refuse collected on Monday (Dec. 2) along with residents on the regular Monday route.
Residents on the Thursday “A” recycling route will have their recycling collected on Friday (Nov. 29). Residents on the Friday “A” recycling route will have their recycling collected on Saturday (Nov. 30).
The Muscatine Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday and Friday (Nov. 28-29), and will resume normal hours of operation on Saturday (Nov. 30). Transfer Station hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with the last load on the scale at 3:15 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. with the last load on the scale at 11:45 a.m.
The Compost Facility will be closed on Thursday (Nov. 28), but the facility will resume normal hours on Friday (Nov. 29). Compost Facility hours are Sunday-Friday 12-5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
