MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Norbert F. Beckey Bridge (Highway 92) will be reduced to one lane of traffic October 7-10 as Muscatine Power & Water and Musco remove the bridge lights ahead of Iowa Department of Transportation work on the bridge that will include bridge washing.
Crews and signage will be in place during the lane restrictions. Drivers are urged to plan for extra travel time while crossing the bridge during this time and to be alert for workers and signage from both directions.
The time schedule for the bridge washing has not been announced as yet.
