[ARCHIVED] Golf Course announces Thanksgiving holiday hours

2018 Fall Sale

MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course will observe modified hours over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The course will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open regular hours Friday through Sunday, Nov. 23-25, weather permitting.

Holiday action begins this weekend at the golf course with the 9-hole Turkey Open scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 18, weather permitting. The Turkey Open will be played on the Front 9 with an entry fee of $17 for season pass holders and $25 for non-season pass holders. Make your own tee-time for this a two-person scramble that includes a chipping and long drive contest. For more information or to sign up your team, call the Pro Shop at 563-263-4735.

Avoid the hustle and bustle of early bird shopping and instead enjoy peace and quiet out on the course before December hits. Remember that the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course is now offering the $25 “All You Can Play” special all day long (weather permitting) - a true Black Friday steal.

If you are in the mood for some holiday shopping, you can have your cake and eat it too. The Fall Clearance sale is happening now in the Pro Shop featuring up to 20 percent off on a variety of in-stock merchandise.

The arrival of winter does not mean the departure of golf. Leagues, lessons and regular play will be taking place all season long on the Golf Simulator. Contact the Golf Course for a full list of play options and pricing.

For more information and to book a tee time, please call the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course at (563) 263-4735, or visit
