MUSCATINE, Iowa – No injuries were reported during a morning fire at the Muscatine Power & Water Plant, 1700 Dick Drake Way, Tuesday (May 16) morning. The Muscatine Fire Department responded at 7:56 a.m. to a report of a coal fire in a dust collector. The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes, but crews remained on the scene until 10:30 a.m. due to hot spots in the system.
