MUSCATINE, Iowa – Girls and boys in the first through sixth grades are invited to participate in a Basketball Shooting Camp to be held over winter break. The camp will be held Dec. 26, 27, and 28, at McKinley Elementary School and is sponsored by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department.
Attendees will learn the proper stance, balance, grip, delivery and follow through as trained Parks and Recreation staff help attendees improve their game. First and second graders will play from 9:00 – 9:55 a.m., third and fourth graders from 10:00 – 10:55 a.m., and fifth and sixth graders from 11:00 – 11:55 a.m. each day of the program.
Registration is underway with a $25.00 registration fee for residents and a $30.00 fee for non-residents. Parents can register their children for the camp in person at the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department in the lower level of City Hall, 215 Sycamore Street, by phone with a credit or debit card, or online at www.muscatineiowa.gov/registration.
