Subdivision
Lake View Estates – 1 Lot Re-plat Preliminary/Final Plat – 3.013 Acres – on Tipton Road – Brian Wegner - Muscatine County Subdivision. Brian Wegner has submitted a replat of Lot 1 of the Lake View Estates
subdivision. This replat would combine the original Lot 1 with the
southern 75’ of the parcel to the north and vacate the utility easement
along the north line of the original Lot 1. The intent is to construct a
single family home. This subdivision is located in unincorporated
Muscatine County, but falls within the two limit requiring City
Approval.
Utility Easement Vacation
1421 Park Avenue (Old Armory Property) – Vacation of a MPW Utility Easement - Olsson Associates on behalf of Kum & Go. Olsson Associates on behalf of Kum & Go has submitted an easement
vacation plat that vacates a 10 feet wide utility easement, owned by
Muscatine Power and Water (MPW), exists along the common property line
at 1421 Park Avenue only which will be in conflict with a proposed
building. The Easement Vacation Plat proposes to vacate that portion of
the utility easement along the common property line, the 10 feet wide
utility easement for the National Guard Armory’s service line, and a
remaining 10 feet wide utility easement along Park Avenue. No existing
utilities will remain in the vacated easements since they
will be demolished, removed, and/or relocated for construction of the new building.
Alley Right-of-Way Vacation
1109 Grandview Avenue – Vacation of an Alley. Tim McCleary has submitted a request to vacate the alley behind 1109 Grandview Avenue. Commissioners are requested to set an on-site visit.
Other Business
Comprehensive Plan Update. City Planner Andrew Fangman will present Commissioners with the status
of the Comprehensive Plan Update. A discussion will follow with the
opportunity for Commissioners to provide input and suggestions regarding
the update effort and adoption timeline.
