Subdivision
Replat of Lots 16, 17, & 23 of Ramsgate Replat of Kent Estates — Benjamin Clove — 2 lots — 11.6 Acres — Cranbrook Cross — Unincorporated Muscatine County
Benjamin Clove has filed a combined Preliminary/Final Plat for Replat of Lots 16, 17, & 23 of Ramsgate Replat of Kent Estates, a 11.6 acre two lot replat of Lots 16, 17, & 23 of Ramsgate Replat of Kent Estates. The subject area is zoned R-2 (Residential) within unincorporated Muscatine County. The intent is to create two lots for residential purposed by combining Lots 16 and 17 with a 3 acre portion of Lot 23 (formerly a golf hole), leaving the remaining 7.46 acres of Lot 23 as a residential lot. Certain utility easements are being proposed for vacation. This subdivision is located in unincorporated Muscatine County, but falls within the two mile limit requiring City of Muscatine review and approval.
Utility Easement Way Vacation
Lot 1, Muscatine Pointe Subdivision, — Highway 61 — EEC 313, LLC
EEC 313, LLC has submitted an easement vacation plat that vacates a 15 feet wide utility easement, running through Lot 1 of the Muscatine Pointe Subdivision. The easement is no longer be used, and leaving it would hinder development of Lot 1. Easements meeting all applicable standards exist on each side of Lot 1.
New Zoning Ordinance
Review of the portion of the proposed new zoning ordinance that deals with the regulation of wireless communication facilities.
The process to rewrite Muscatine’s 40-year-old zoning ordinance and implement the vision contained within the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan has begun. A presentation the proposed wireless communication facilities regulations will be made by City Planner Andrew Fangman. Commission discussion and possible action will follow.
