West Hill Sewer Separation Project - Phase 3
Phase 3 project was awarded on April 16, 2015 to Hagerty Earthworks, LLC of Muscatine, Iowa in the amount of $4,988,688.00.
UPDATE: November 22, 2017
Phase 3C Completed
The sewer construction and street paving work for the West Hill Sewer Separation Project is effectively complete. All streets where work has been done as part of the sewer separation project are now open to traffic.
Some storm sewer and sidewalk replacement on the Iowa Avenue side of Wesley Church property located at 4th Street & Iowa is taking place. There may be periodic traffic snags on that block on Iowa Avenue where the construction crews are working but that part of the project will likely be completed during the first part of the first week of December. We will try to keep the street open on that block as much as is possible but occasional delays are likely while the construction crews are working. There will be other minor work being done in the areas of E. 4th, W. 4th, and E. 5th Streets and in the 4th Street Park area as the final project work items are completed.
The City and construction company crews have appreciated your patience during this construction year.
